Cholinesterase inhibitor, indicated for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderately severe Alzheimer’s type dementia.
Alzheimer’s type dementia is believed to be related to the lack of acetylcholine, a substance responsible for messages’ transmission between brain cells.
MICOL® increases the amount of acetylcholine in the brain and so improves the symptoms of the disease (gradual loss of memory, increasing confusion and changes in behavior).
